KAIRI is joining Chris Jericho's Rock 'N' Wrestling Rager at Sea: Seventh Cruise of a Seventh Cruise. Jericho announced the addition himself, according to Ringside News and Fightful. It is one of her first major bookings since she became a free agent following her WWE release in April.
Jericho described her role in his post: "She will be there to meet & greet, take pix and be a part of the overall festivities." Wrestling Inc. reported that the cruise's website revealed her involvement on Thursday, with less than a month to go before sailing.
Who Else Is on Board
Wrestling Inc. listed The Hardys, Elayna Black, AJ Francis and Indi Hartwell as TNA names on the lineup. It also listed AEW's The New Level, Harley Cameron and Luther, along with several other wrestling names.
Fightful added that Jericho will team with Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy against Blake Christian, Jay Lethal and Nick Wayne on the cruise.
The AEW Question
Wrestling Inc. said her booking will probably feed speculation that the former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion is headed to AEW. Reports over the past few months have linked the two sides, and some suggested they were negotiating in September. The outlet noted that no agreement has been reported, and that many of the cruise's names have no AEW connection.
AEW will tape its November 7 episode of Collision on the cruise, according to Wrestling Inc. and Fightful. Wrestling Inc. said it is the promotion's first TV taping on the Rock N Wrestling Rager since the winter of 2020. That episode is the first Collision after AEW Blood & Guts, set for November 4.
Why It Matters
For now, the sources describe a fan-facing appearance, not a signing. Ringside News framed the booking as a way for KAIRI to stay visible while her next move remains open, and every public appearance will keep the questions about her future coming.
