KITH, Giorgio Armani and ASICS have formally revealed a joint GEL-Mai 0.1, according to Hypebeast. The outlet calls the project a rare three-way partnership that links streetwear, Italian luxury and sportswear heritage. The shoe was first shown at KITH's annual trip.
What the shoe looks like
The GEL-Mai 0.1 is an asymmetrical model that Ronnie Fieg has reworked before. This version has a muted grey upper made from shaggy suede, Hypebeast reported.
Navy-toned GEL units are exposed along the midsole, which adds a technical contrast to the softer upper. The co-branding is subtle and sits just under the ankle collar. Hypebeast describes it as a blend of tailoring detail and ASICS performance heritage.
Building on a Fieg and Armani relationship
The release extends the ongoing relationship between Fieg and the Italian fashion house. In 2024, KITH and Giorgio Armani worked together on a suiting collection called "The Archetype." New York Knicks apparel followed. Hypebeast says this project widens Giorgio Armani's footwear efforts, now with ASICS as a partner.
Release details
No date or price has been given in the source material. Hypebeast said the sneaker is expected to arrive soon at KITH stores and online. It said the shoe will likely debut as a Monday Program drop.
