Max Caster will face Moose at TNA Bound For Glory, according to Fightful, which reported that TNA confirmed the match after Caster responded to an open challenge on Friday.
How the match came together
Moose put out the open challenge for the show on Thursday's episode of TNA iMPACT!, Fightful reported. By Friday morning, Caster had posted a rap in which he took it up, introducing himself to TNA as the "Best Wrestler Alive" and tagging the company's account.
TNA then announced on its own account that Caster had accepted Moose's challenge. The company said the match will air this Sunday live on pay-per-view and TNA+ from the Yuengling Center. Bound For Glory is set for Sunday, October 11.
Caster's recent run
The timing follows a change in Caster's status. Fightful reported that he became a free agent at the start of October, when AEW chose not to renew his contract. He had not appeared on AEW television since December 2025.
In the meantime, he has kept working on the independent scene. Fightful named Wrestling Open, Mystery Wrestling and Create-A-Pro Wrestling among the promotions he has wrestled for, along with others.
Why it matters
The sources do not say whether Caster's appearance is a one-off or the start of a longer arrangement with TNA, and neither side has described any deal beyond this match. For now, the facts are that a wrestler who was a free agent days earlier is booked on one of TNA's major shows, with the match set for Sunday.
