WWE has announced that Giulia will meet Blake Monroe in a Street Fight on the October 23 SmackDown broadcast. The bout was among three matches confirmed during the previous episode, according to Fightful and Ringside News.
The stipulation emerged after Monroe approached general manager Nick Aldis about Giulia. Aldis made the match official, moving their dispute into a singles contest without the ordinary restrictions governing a standard match.
A Women's Title Defense
Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley are set to defend the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship against Michin and B-Fab. The two reports identify Bliss and Paxley as the reigning champions and confirm that their upcoming defense will be part of the advertised lineup.
The show also has a men's tag match pitting Bakusai against MFT. Fightful identifies Shinsuke Nakamura and Kyoki as Bakusai's representatives, while Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga will represent MFT.
Those additions give the October 23 show a championship contest, a singles Street Fight and a separate tag team encounter. The outlets describe these as announced matches, not results or a complete inventory of everything that will air.
The Next Broadcast
All three bookings were announced during the October 16 episode of WWE SmackDown. The exchange between Monroe and Aldis supplied the immediate context for the planned fight with Giulia.
Bliss and Paxley will have an opportunity to defend their titles, while Michin and B-Fab will try to win them. Elsewhere, Bakusai and MFT have a scheduled confrontation. The lineup may be expanded, but those are the confirmed matches in the available reporting.
