Turnstile to Play Free Washington Monument Show for Charity

The band will close its Never Enough Pt. 2 Tour on October 24 with a no-cost concert, partnering with Human Concern International on donations for aid in Palestine, Sudan and Lebanon.

Turnstile will play a free concert at the Washington Monument at 3 p.m. local time on October 24, with the aim of raising money for humanitarian work in Palestine, Sudan and Lebanon. NME reported that the band announced the date on Thursday, October 8, through its social media channels.

How the fundraiser works

The show is being staged with Human Concern International. Fans can RSVP for entry, and they are encouraged to donate to the charity. According to NME, the money raised will be split equally among the organization's efforts in the three regions.

Hassan Wadi, the charity's global director, said in a statement carried by NME, Pitchfork and Rolling Stone: "As a Gazan, I cannot be prouder of the Turnstile team and community." He added that donations would go toward food, water, medical care and shelter for families in need across all three regions.

A tour finale

Pitchfork reported that the concert will be the last date of the Never Enough Pt. 2 Tour, which began in June in support of the band's 2025 album Never Enough.

The announcement lands soon after the band's Saturday Night Live debut. Pitchfork noted that Turnstile became the first hardcore band on the show's stage since Fear in 1981. They played "Birds" and a pairing of "I Care" and "Dull." Pitchfork also said "Birds" has become something of a theme for the Baltimore Orioles this year.

Grammy wins and a reworked album

Rolling Stone reported that "Birds" won Best Metal Performance at the Grammys in February, while Never Enough, the band's fourth album after 2021's Glow On, took Best Rock Album. The outlet added that Turnstile were the first act nominated in the Rock, Alternative and Metal categories at once.

The band later issued a reimagined edition of the album with guest collaborators. Rolling Stone and NME date that release to August, while Pitchfork says September.

Why it matters

The date turns the end of a long touring run into a charity event open to anyone who RSVPs. NME also noted that, speaking at the 2026 BRIT Awards, the band said artists serve as a mirror for what is happening in the world. This show is a concrete example of the band acting on that stated view.
