Taylor Rising and Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling have ended their working relationship, according to MLP owner Scott D'Amore. Fightful reported that D'Amore delivered the news during a cameo on a new episode of CMLL Informa.
In the same appearance, D'Amore said Alice Crowley will replace Rising in the CMLL Women's Grand Prix, a change that follows directly from the split.
Crowley Steps In
CMLL confirmed the substitution in a post on its official account, dated October 8, 2026. Written in Spanish, the post said Crowley is joining the Grand Prix de Amazonas 2026. It said she will represent MLP on the Foreign Selection, the team trying to win the international tournament.
The post describes Crowley as MLP's representative, so the spot Rising had been set to fill stays with the promotion's talent.
What We Don't Know
The source material says nothing about why Rising and MLP separated. It also doesn't say when the split took effect, or whether Rising has plans elsewhere. Fightful said it will update its report once more information about her departure is available.
For now, the confirmed facts are narrow. Rising is out of MLP, Crowley is in for the Grand Prix, and the announcement came from D'Amore himself on CMLL's own show.
