Liv Morgan is still WWE Women's World Champion, but barely. Her title defense against Becky Lynch in Monday's Raw main event ended in a disqualification when The Judgment Day interfered, Wrestling Inc. reported.
Lynch got the shot after Stephanie Vaquer was not medically cleared for the Oct. 26 show.
How it unraveled
The match swung back and forth. Lynch kicked out of Morgan's Oblivion, and Morgan escaped a first Disarmher. When Lynch locked it in again, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez ran out and created enough of a distraction for Morgan to slip free. On the floor, a miscue saw Rodriguez boot Perez, and Lynch wiped out both with a Senton.
Back inside, Lynch countered another Oblivion attempt and hit the Manhandle Slam for what looked like the winning pin, until The Judgment Day broke up the count, drawing the DQ and keeping the title on Morgan.
A wild finish
The beatdown on Lynch afterward brought out a wave of help. Chelsea Green, Morgan's Crown Jewel opponent on Nov. 7, hit Morgan with the Unpretti-her, and IYO Sky went after Rodriguez. Then Tiffany Stratton landed the Prettiest Moonsault Ever on a prone Morgan and told the referee she was cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase. Before the bell could ring, Dominik Mysterio dragged Morgan out of the ring, leaving Stratton standing with her briefcase as Raw went off the air.
