Nic Nemeth has a list of wrestlers he thinks will soon be fixtures at the top of TNA cards. Fightful reported that the TNA World Champion shared it in an interview with TVInsider, where he was asked what he hopes the promotion achieves over the next year.
His picks: Ricky Sosa, BDE, Jason Hotch and Mustafa Ali. Nemeth noted that Ali has been with the company for a while, yet still expects him to settle into the main event scene for good.
Elegance Brand and the next wave
Nemeth also highlighted the Elegance Brand, saying the group has been building toward a breakout. He credited Ash for the groundwork that got it started, and described it as having grown into a separate entity of its own. He expects something notable from the faction over the coming year, with the possibility that individual members, or even all of them, emerge as breakout stars.
His broader hope is that TNA's deep bench of up-and-comers becomes familiar to fans once Bound for Glory is over.
Slater on the horizon
The timing is pointed. At TNA Bound for Glory 2026, Nemeth is set to defend his title against Leon Slater. Fightful noted that a Slater win would make him the youngest TNA World Champion in the promotion's history.
Nemeth was complimentary about his challenger, saying that even in defeat Slater has shown he belongs in the main event picture. In his words, "this guy is a main eventer. This guy can be world champion tomorrow."
Why it matters
A champion publicly naming successors is a useful signal of where TNA may be heading creatively. Elsewhere in the same interview, Fightful said, Nemeth took responsibility for confusion over how his match with Jeff Hardy was advertised. Fightful will provide live coverage of Bound for Glory.
